I'm torn between wanting to see this, because hey, I could make fun of it! I would likely have a field day with it!...and not wanting to have anything to do with it, because all I have seen, across the board, are negative reviews of it, and it sounds awful.
I totally agree with you! The pure awesomeness that is Avatar the Last Airbender should be regulated to the show, ONLY! If you're curious about the movie, wait for Netflix/Redbox to get it in stock.
Hey now, the only reason I didn't go see Avatar in the theatre was because I didn't have anyone to go see it with, and I hate going to the movies alone. :P
And if I wouldn't go see that in the theatre, and I actually really did want to see it...
DON'T GO SEE IT! Please don't feed the money hungry beast that is known as Hollywood and make them think that this movie is actually good enough to deserve a squeal! Wait until they come out with the DVD version of it, at least then it won't be too painful to just shut it off if you get bored of it. Which I did.
Oh definitely, if it came to that, I would wait until it was out on video to see it. I would not go to the theatre and waste the money to see it there!
...heck, I have a feeling that the only way I would see this is if someone else rented it, or I found a, ah, less scrupulous method of obtaining it... ;P
