Re-reading
I've re-read Twilight and I'm currently on New Moon, page 226. I love doing this because when I first read something (and I really like it) I tend to just keep going because "OMG, I want to see what happensss!". When I read them over I read slower and really pay attention and try to see if the writer is giving us some foreshadowing that I couldn't catch the first time I read it.
As I'm reading New Moon it hits me
If Bella ever get's turned into a vampire her "special gifts" could be that she sees people for who they truly are. Already she's very preceptive (if a bit slow to putting the pieces all together), in Twilight she had a dream with Jacob and Edward both in it and Jacob turned into a brown dog and attacked Edward. Also in New Moon she has the dream of Sam Uley shaking out of the corner of her eye when.
This is all before Bella had any idea about the La Push pack. Of course this is all speculatively. I have no proff that's whats going to happen. I have high, high hopes that Bella will be turned and we see her journey as a vamp. I always hated Vamp/Human love stories because the vamp never seems to want to turn their lovers into vamps. It's always left me going so... what next? She get's old and dies? What happened to the greatest love ever?
Anyways, I like Jacob a lot. But personally I'm hoping that Bella stays with Edward. I know that everything leads to that but... you never know.
