This evening marks the beginning of a five day vacation. I'm excited that the kids and I will not technically be leaving town. I hope Disneyland on Monday will cheer them up while daddy's gone. I also get to watch Sex and the City with Sarah and Melissa on Sunday, after I volunteer at an event in the morning, while my parents watch the boys. We may do a museum trip with Mason and Taffany on Wednesday to check out the new dinosaur exhibit. Maybe we'll cook a fancy dinner and bake a cake for Justin's return home Wednesday night.
It's the first time I'm taking a "vacation" with the kids by myself. I'm looking forward to enjoying their company. It might be fun if we all camp out in the family room and sleep together. I bet they'd love that.
