Iconmakers I Miss... Part I

Yes, I was the author of the secret over at iconsecrets. I miss her stuff. A lot. She was arguably one of the best with typography when she was around, and if you ask me, she still is. I haven't seen anyone one in the animanga fandom thus far that trumps her in that department. I think she was also quite underrated... I guess her icons were hit or miss with alot of people? Her icons did have the grungy look sometimes and the that look has never really been that popular in the animanga fandom. Regardless, I hope she'll return to iconmaking one day.

Most people know her for her gorgeous layouts, but she also made gorgeous icons. I absolutely loved the way she worked with and used resources to compose her icons. I also really loved her splash of colour icons, as you can see. Heh.

I doubt many remember or have even heard of her, but I remember when I first started making icons that her icons blew me away... and they still do. Her stock icons are simply stunning and I was always jealous of her ability to make them look so pretty. Her animanga icons were also equally gorgeous. She was also an absolutely sweetheart to boot.
