Pork Fried Rice

you will need:

1/2 Hormel Peppercorn Center Cut Pork Loin - cooked
1/4 green pepper
1 onion slice
1 egg
1/2 cup rice
3/4 cup beef broth
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp white wine
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp garlic powder

When I make pork fried rice I usually have already cooked the pork loin for another meal, so it's ready to go. If you haven't, cook according to package directions. Start by making the rice. Put 1/2 cup rice and 3/4 cup beef broth (use water if you don't have any) in a pan and bring it to a boil. Turn heat to low and cover. You can just let the rice simmer while you make the rest of the ingredients. Dice the pork, onion, and green pepper. Scramble and cook the egg, then set it aside for later. Sauté the pork, onion, and green pepper for a few minutes over medium heat. While they are sautéing, you can mix your teriyake sauce. Combine the soy sauce, white wine, sugar, ground ginger, and garlic powder in a bowl. By now the rice is done, so add it to the pork, onion, and pepper. Dice the cooked egg and add it too. Now add the teriyaki sauce and mix everything up so that everything gets a nice coating of sauce. Sauté for a few more minutes and you're done.
