(no subject)
saturday was pretty chill. mainly stayed at home and hung out w/ my older sis. really, the only thing we did all day that was interesting was going to my sister's post-MCAT celebration later that day. it was me, reek, and my two cousins from peachtree city that drove up to atlanta for krusty's shindig. we all met up at Piebar, off of Piedmont. it looked pretty cool considering it used to be an old bank, then converted to a up-scale pizza/bar. their pizzas were good, though expensive. their drinks were pretty good and a little on the affordable range. we also met up w/ reeks friends, carlton and corey. it was a pretty good turnout. krusty's friends finally showed up just as we were about to leave. after Piebar, everyone who drove up w/ me went to the Varsity since my cousins have never been before. they enjoyed it and got the obligatory tourist varsity hats. we finally got home at around 11pm so i could get some sleep for tomorrow. unfortunately, i didnt sleep too good last night.
i kept waking up at odd times and really couldnt go to sleep after waking up at 2am. though, i finally started to get into a good sleep until my alarm clock went off. i think i only got about a couple hours of good sleep last night. oh well, it happens...just like snakes on a mutha fuckin plane. anyway, i get to work around 7.20a to open up the club. i actually dont mind opening as much as i do closing. the only thing about opening im not big into is waking up way too early. though, closing only sucks since theres more "chores" to do to close up the club. for my first opening MOD shift, i thought i did pretty well. nothing really happened today and was rather slow. i wouldnt mind opening sundays. anyway, as the day passed on, the lack of sleep began to take its toll on myself as my lower back just gradually got sore. it does that whenever im extremely tired or fatigued. darn those band camp injuries. i finally got home after 3pm since i spent about an hour talking to friends at blast. and pretty much, i got home and fell asleep. because im stupid, i slept on my bad shoulder wrong and now thats hurting like fuck. i cant buy a break these days.
the fall semester starts tomorrow...woot.
