Hey Zack! I'm a cranky old lady who doesn't like change, so I totally get where Amarissia's coming from, but I've got to say, I thought the outcome was pretty darn awesome. I'm really excited to see where they take it. It's just not the "remake" we were expecting.
Like xpaperplanex I am also excited about the ending of remake vol. 1! How long do I have to wait for the next installment?
Zack, you are my absolute favorite character in any video game ever, let alone FFVII. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, but tell Amarissia to keep watching! I think she will be happy with it. And I am DYING to talk to more people about it.
My only complaint is that Angeal and Genesis aren't in it. Cuz, you know, they make everything better.
Zack: "Aw." *blush, shuffles feet* "Your favorite, really? Thanks, Lenine. I don't get why people make such a big deal about me, but thanks. And the Crazy-I mean, uh, Amarissia watched some more last night and I think she's mostly over her funk."
Yes, but I might have been hallucinating, I'm pretty sure Sephiroth said "Embrace me" to Cloud. (Nomura's peering into my head for ideas again, or vice versa.) Choir!Cloud loved that part and happily provided his Seph with cuddles.
Oh, as SOON as I am done, you and I are going to have some squeeing fangirl convos, and I bet we have a lot of favorite moments in common!
Genesis: "Ooh, a girls' night, is it? We can break in my new fondue set and discuss how Nomura-sama totally owes me a sequel all of my own, where I'm only filmed on my good side and I get to be shirtless on the box art."

Thanks, girl. :) I've only got a couple hours left of the playthrough (fingers crossed it's not incomplete), and no disappointment yet.
