One Month
I can't believe that my little man is one month old today. It doesn't seem like it's been that long. He's starting to make noises other than just crying. He can hold his head up pretty well. He's up to 11 lbs already, he still has a big head, but it's ok because he still looks cute. I'm still working on getting picture online, but I'm having problems doing that. Although I do wish he would sleep more often. He doesn't really take naps during the day at all and he always wants to be held, which makes doing anything else really difficult. He's starting to get better at night. He went to sleep at 9pm and I didn't have to get up to feed him until 4 am. That was two nights in a row that he slept like that. Although the night before that he woke up every 2 hours or so and then woke up at 5 am, 5:30 am, & 6 am. So I'm hopefully that he isn't giving me false hope. I really want him to start sleeping more. I actually got him to take an actual nap today, but I kinda had to let him cry himself to sleep a little bit. He wasn't screaming and I made sure that nothing was wrong with him, but I let him do it by himself. I know that makes me sound like a bad mom, but I really want him to learn to get himself to sleep and take naps during the day. BJ's ship is having their x-mas party tonight and we're actually going. We have someone to babysit Dominic, this is the first time we are leaving him with someone so hopefully it goes well and we don't have to leave early. We're going up to PA on wednesday to visit family and friends and it'll help a lot because there will be a lot of other people to hold the baby during the day for us so we get a break. We're also going to give out the x-mas gifts that we bought for people and celebrate our one year anniversary on saturday. Our anniversary was yesterday, I still can't believe that we've been married for a whole year. Well Dominic just woke up and he's hungry so I gotta go, I'll update again whenever I get a chance.
