cuteness alert!
The sweet little girl in my arms is Michelly Catharina Raquel, born October 5th. She's the daughter of my cousin Jeroen and his wife Alexandra. She's half Brazilian and half Dutch. I visited them today (together with my parents).
She's a large baby: at birth she weighed 7.3 lbs and she was 21 inches tall! Considering her mother is a petite girl... my oh my.
On the other hand, she's a very, very sweet baby. And if it wasn't for her parents, I could have taken her home with me. Or otherwise my mom and (especially) my dad could have taken her also. She really was connecting with my father. She even 'laughed', well lets say, put her face in a laughing manner because babies that young cannot laugh.
