(no subject)
in the labs right now....been working all day...fun stuff...
the kids in this morning's class had a lot more questions than the ones in yesterday's. i like that. it makes the job more fun. but I did skip the demo, cos it was a rpeat of yesterday. Went to Big E's and got a bawls, cos lord knows I haven't been sleeping too well lately. I mean, last night, I was dead tired. But alas, I could not fall asleep.
So I went to go get some milk, cos I ran out, and Ed was in the labs so I didn't have to be there for a bit. Came back, was walking up to my apartment...realised I locked my keys in the car. I'm brilliant, yes.
So my mum's mailing me the spare key, hopefully it'll get here soon. Otherwise, Denise just isnt locking the apartment at all. I hope she remembers.
Worked a lil bit on revising my sit stand. I decided I'm gonna do a completely new Soapbox, using the same character. So I set up the scene and did the lighting for that today. I could keep working on sit stand, but I don't feel like it. I'm in the labs for like, 5-8 hours a day (not including class time), so I figure I'll have plenty of time to get both these lil projects done. I just can't do it for the entire time, ya know?
I like the kids who have some Maya experience. They have bigger ambitions, so they ask me how to do more complex stuff. Got to show this one kid how to make an incandecense map. ooooooh.
20 more minutes until labs close. There's only one kid in here, and if it weren't for him I could've left already.
I have a mock critique to go to tonight. Oh joy. Which means I'll basically have been at work from 8:30 this morning until prolly like, 9 at night, with the exception of about the half hour I took off to lock my keys in the car.
But yea. Work is fun. I actually can stand teaching when its not like, stupid people who dont give a shit about what you're telling them. Or stupid people who just don't understand anything.
I hope dinner is better than yesterday.
