costuming and bonfires
it's kind of sad that I'm the first one to wake up here...so here I am, finding ways to amuse myself. the laundry shute has kind of lost its amusement now, alas. so there's always lj!
yesterday jack and alex worked on their costumes pretty much all day (and yet didnt even finish the shoes..but what can be expected, when hand sewing?) alex wants to go work on costumes with clint today, but jack wants to take me downtown, so I'm not sure what will end up happening today.
anyways, they worked on costume while i abused alex's computer with anime, music, and ims. ooh! and I used alex's left over shoe fabric to make tracker a darth tracker costume, and zenelli a bow tie and boots (with little bows on them). They're so cute now.
then we left for jake's open house. clint has a LOT of family, omg. Saw Chris ("what are you doing here?") and met some more friend people. Did more trampoline bouncing (tis fun, but I'm so bad at it. It's like, constant falling and high pitched sqeaks). Went swimming and super-soaker-ing with clint, jake, sara (keena?), and some other guy. Clint was putting ice water in his. Then it started to get cold and I was freezing my ass off for like, an hour. Had to borroe alex's hoodie over my own hoodie, twas so cold.
Later there was bonfire, which I helped with, a lot! I guess watching corey sean and denys make so many bonfires taught me how to make one. Cos omg, this one just didn't want to live. But then I burnt my finger, so i stopped doing anything with the fire. Clint almost got his foot burned. Then there was just lots of hanging around until like, 2. I almost fell asleep.
But i got a balloon! But it's all, like, dead now. My poor balloon. People kept want to breathe the helium from him, but I saved him. Only for him to die a few hours later.
I want people to wake up....poo.
But yea, Clint's family are all cool. Jake's gf Sara is awesome. And I met Jennica! she gave me a hug....
The weirdest thing about being here is being introduced to people who are like "oh I know you." And it's just like, "huh? wha? how?" Clint's grandma and logan's mom both did that (like, the two people I would least expect to, you know?)
But yea...trip's like, at the halfway point. Tis going by too quickly. Oh well. At least in like, 2 weeks I'll be back at Ringling, so that'll be a change at least. And the Disney trip in July. yay!
And now I'm hungry...time to go steal some Meow Berry poptarts....
