Toothless Fairy

I'm not that toothless, at least not yet. This week I had to remove a broken molar. The dental surgeon was ever so nice. My usual dentist had apparently told him I am extremely  afraid of dentists, so I was told to go there an hour before the appointment to get a sedative, I’ve rarely been so calm in such a den of torture before. For a while I guess I have been a sorry case of toothaching crybaby. In the end my sister called and booked the appointment and also convinced our mother to drive me there and pay the bill. It was nice to have a ride home as well since I wasn’t really coherent afterwards, very calm, but slightly woozy. (I think I told the dentist's nurse my life story, but I'm not sure). Later my other sister came by with dinner, full service.

After that I've been on painkillers. And to top the week off, I’m going to appeal to the Attorney General for damages done by the health insurance, like too many other people in this country. I can slightly understand the man who walked into our nearest church a while ago, during a very popular Sunday service.  It's a cute little wooden church, and it was packed with people. The man was carrying a huge axe and a can of petrol. No one took notice at first, but then he started to talk to himself so loud that he interrupted the service. By then people had notice what he was carrying, and started to panic and run. Fortunately the  police came and took him away before anything happened. (At times like that I'm very happy we have such strict laws against weapons here.) Not that I would consider doing anything like that to the Health Service, I'm not crazy, but if, let's say the Minister for Health, who started the whole reorganisation and downsizing of the public health services would be persecuted and go to jail, I think I would do a happy dance and throw a party.

But I’m fairly calm and try to look forward. I won’t give up. I’ve been drawing a lot, since I have to do something to take my mind off things instead of chewing my nails off or rolling around in bed, unable to sleep.
And now, some pictures and fanart.

Today it’s foggy and white, I can hardly see the houses across the park outside my window (no big loss, they are not exactly appealing). I think it’s kind of pretty, at least when you can stay inside with a hot cup of tea.

I’m decorating your clean sheets - they need more hair

I wonder how Accio got in there. I suddenly found her in my very disorganised linen closet.

A lilttle ditty I did for Sister H's birthday. She's a big DN & L fan. Like me. I did another first, but she wanted one where he was sitting, and "with those crazy eyes". Hm.
