I've tracked down JJ Feild, I knew I recognised him - he was Richard in
Perfect Strangers which, if you haven't seen, please please do. It is possibly the most remarkable program I've ever seen... I was absolutely shattered the first time I saw it a few years ago, I've seen it again since and the impact was not quite the same, but it was still fascinating. It's best watched on a cold, blustery night, with a blindingly hot cup of tea (or a buttered rum) with just a small lamp fluttering away in the background.
This lovely boy is also apparently going to be the delicious Henry Tilney in a new Northanger Abbey film which I await with bated breath...
I'm also considering starting some sort of petition to have The Woman in Black remade as a mini-series starring, of course, Mr Feild as Arthur Kipps, he was born for the part, I swear.
this song is absolutely glorious - it has Carter written all over it - beautiful
