IY 511: Kagome's Spiritual Power

I'm going to post my thoughts as I read it now.
Whoa, that is one nifty looking cover page. Kagome versus Naraku. Nice shading, very dark and ominous.
And who-oaaa that is one cool shot of Kagome's arrow bypassing Hitomiko and going straight through Naraku's head! I am really digging the artwork this chapter. Kagome herself seems to be drawn with more personality (maybe it's her hairstyle?).
And so, page 10, we return to the Inu-tachi. (I remember those guys!) ;)
Page 11, Hitomiko's calling Kagome a "mystery". Ok, what's going on here...?
Page 12, Hitomiko says to Kagome, "I didn't sense any spiritual power to use the bow coming from you." Again, what's going on here...?
Page 13, Hitomiko faints and says something is sealing Kagome's true spiritual power. And then on page 14, goes on to say her power's been sealed probably since she was born.
Page 18, Kagome realizes that the one sealing her power is... DUN DUN DUN... Kikyo! (Beautiful page design, btw.)
What does this all mean? How is Kikyo sealing her power, and why? How is Kikyo's power in the bow, and how did that power act to save Kagome and Hitomiko?
Even though Hitomiko's soul was saved, it appears this arc isn't over yet. More discovery about Kagome next week.

And Naraku's as good as tiny particles at this point, after basically being exploded twice, first by Sango and now Kagome. Wonder if he'll make Byakuya gather all the pieces up in a jar or something until his body reforms. XD
