Ah, this is so sad...
But let me start at the beginning...
Several weeks ago, suffering from a severe need to read Inuyasha manga that could no longer be found in English, I ordered a bunch of Inuyasha manga volumes (24-41) in Japanese.
--By the way, I wholly recommend
Sasuga Japanese Bookstore to anyone looking for hard-to-find manga and such, but I digress--
Greedily, I've been reading these wonderful volumes (with the help of online English translations, of course) one after the other for the past few weeks.
Man, it's been fun.
But alas, all good things come to an end. And so, as soon as I finish typing these words, I am about to open up my last volume, #41, and within an hour or two, it will be over. No more Inuyasha manga for moi.
Le sigh.
I suppose there are still the picture-less translations online at least, but it really does not have half the impact of Takahashi's powerful illustrations.
Theoretically, I could get a subscription from Sasuga to the weekly magazine that Inuyasha is printed in in Japan, but that is way, way too expensive.
I'm relatively new to the Inuyasha fandom. How does everyone else deal with manga-withdrawal? Ugh.
Well, here I go to read the last manga...
...I only hope it doesn't end on some horrible cliffhanger that will just have me cursing that I don't have the next volume to read, like so many other volumes end on...
...But knowing Takahashi, it will...
D'oh....
