I've seen that term around -- 'flashfic'. Not quite sure what it means, though.

However, completing any story is a reason for celebration! Congrats! *leian breaks out the champagne and throws confetti* Hurrah!!

It's a fic written for iy_flashfic. It's a comm that has monthly challenges. Everyone requests a fic, and then gets random assignments. It's kept a secret till the end who wrote for whom, and at the end of the month the fics are posted. They're due March 31, so I'm cutting it close.

This is my first time participating at _flashfic, so I'm a bit nervous.
