I'll tell you why: it's at the moment Harry looks in the mirror and first sees his blown-up face, which is SO BLOODY UNDIGNIFIED THAT IF THEY INCLUDE THAT IN THE FILM I WILL JUST PUKE. GOD, Rowling, why did you have to make that moment so GOOFY?? It completely defused the danger I would have felt in that scene and just made me squirm throughout it all.
