This week has been more or less a rollercoaster. I've alternately sucked and excelled at my job. Well, I actually sucked at someone else's job because I've been subbing for a colleague. But anyway... I'll be out of here in less than an hour and overall, it's been a great learning experience. I'm normally too tired to post, I'm just doing my best to catch up with your entries (and I know I don't always make it), but today I want to give a big birthday hug to my girls
tattiff,
juleslovesfoxy and
wildjinx.
The Cheek Monster (my niece, Diana) says Enjoy Getting Older! :p
And because I owe tattiff, here you go. Texas blogging:
1. Tiff and her family were the sweetest hosts anybody could wish for.
2. It was hot, but I'm used to it.
3. Fort Worth pwns Dallas.
4. Tiff's road rage is sort of adorable. I was highly amused. :D
5. I don't have more pictures in my PB, most of them are in my laptop at home so you're going to have to take my word for it when I tell you how much I loved Dallas and Fort Worth, especially the artsy parts where Tiff hangs out for her movie obsession.
6. They have a subway. Yes, I know, I know... but I still had a hard time believing they had a subway in LA when I saw it on 24. I thought they were making it up. Until I actually got to ride it.
7. I'm going to edit my post when I get home to show you the cattle drive from Forth Worth, which was like stepping back into the wild, wild west. Also, must add picture I took specifically for Spanish Laura.
8. Tiff's car had a smudge of white paint on it from back when she was an extra on Friday Night Lights. Ergo, I have a cutie Matt number of 2 in any Six Degrees game because I rode in the car you saw in an episode of FNL.
9. We watched the LOST finale together and we both had our moments of peeking through our fingers, going: "Nononononononono... you cannot be so lame!!!"
10. She gave me a Jack doll for my birthday!!! *huggles* It was without a doubt the best gift anybody's given me since Columbia University decided to have its commencement speech on my birthday. I love it and Tiff so. :-*
Here's one picture of me giggling like an idiot at Southfork Ranch, which I visited so I could take lots of pictures for my soap opera obsessed grandma.
PS: I've cut my hair. And I mean REALLY cut my hair. There's hardly anything left.
