Aside from waking up early in the morning again, the new job is good. It will get significantly better when I get the internet hooked up to my new computer cause I'm working on a borrowed one that doesn't do wireless at the moment. I thought I was going to get sick and fast of all the crap technical paperwork to be translated, but I was just sitting around waiting for something to happen and I started revising other translations and rediscovered that I enjoy it. It's my version of sudoku or crossword puzzles. (Also realized why they hired me. Holy shit, those were AWFUL)
I love the people. After working with assholes for six months, you sort of stop taking nice, professional, courteous, extremely HELPFUL (with the n00b in particular) co-workers and bosses for granted. Still have to practice to relearn the stickshift thing (WHY? I don't get what the freakin' purpose is when you have something simpler to use???) for when the engineers arrive and I start driving them around.
There is nothing exciting going on in my life, other than the sad fact that I missed one BSG episode in the season one catch up I'm doing here with reruns. Oh, well. I've seen the What The Frak Is Going On? recap thingie anyway.
I hate disabling comments, but no internet at work means no time to catch up with more time-consumming stuff like LJ.
I'll try to be less boring in the future. :p
PS: Some of the office furniture/supplies remind me of Dwight and the gang. Must find out if new co-workers watch The Office and start quoting it often if they do.
