Today was a Day of Loving and probably my favorite day in NYC ever.
I invited myself to a block party, there was free BBQ, beer, Ben and Jerry's, iced tea, a kickass DJ and many, many gorgeous people celebrating the love. My favorites were a couple of septuagenarians, cutest couple ever. So today I've been fed, entertained, educated and awed. All for free. Thanks, New York.
Click on this map to be amazed. It took Alabama until 2000 to strike down the prohibition of interracial marriage from its constituion and even then it wasn't done that enthusiastically.
