Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Well today was a pretty nice Thanksgiving all and all and i have to thank my cousin for that, he made every effort to get me over to his house even though for a bit it didn't look like i was going to have anyplace to go today. I'm stuffed, that's for sure, but more then that i'm content. It's kind of humurous how, in a family you can tell when someone is miserable as the only thing that comes out of their mouths is nasty or derogratory crap. And they just blurt it out at you and think because they can say it that it's fine and you should have to deal with it. I just make fun of them and get on with my life. If you want to be a miserable person, do it on your time, cause you're not going to do it on my time. My cousin had this great thing he did, i hope it he does it again next year, i may borrow it down the road, it's kind of a gift giving game. Alright here's how it went, we reached into a Santa hat and pulled out a number from 1-5 and we picked a present in that order, one had gotten a present and they could open, now number 2 picked a present, before he opened it, he could take number 1's present or open present 2. We repeated this process with 3 getting to take 1 or 2' present or keep theirs, i loved it, was like a game show! My cousins has always been big into X-mas and the holidays, god bless him and it's nice to see him instill this in his own son.
One thing we spoke about was the possibility of getting all the cousins together at some point rather then waiting till one of us dies and going to a funeral. It's sad though, you hear, awww...i'm too busy or i can't get the time off, but when someone dies there they are like a bullet, too bad people don't put more effort into coming when people are alive. Hopefully among the things we give thanks for is each other, our family and what we've shared over the years. My uncle, god rest his soul, was great when it came to that, he got the family together for holidays and would call us, ..."Your coming, right? What? You can't get a ride down here? I'll be there in 10 minutes." It was just the way he was, and he brought us together close as a family, i think in some ways, we've lost a bit of that, maybe we need to get it back.
Well to my friends, family and even strangers i say, God Bless, and Happy Thanksgiving!!!
