Arthritis Update
so i went to the rhuematologist today. its the first i have seen her in a long time because i had surgery. so the surgeon said id have to ask the rhuemy for more pain meds. this was around the 26th of january. she gave me 30 percs and i had to see her for more. which brings me to today.
i get in the little room and tell her about the surgery and how my lower half is not hurting more because i have new parts which made my pelvis tilt and now my ankles and feet hurt so bad that when i come home from work, i cry. i cant leave the house if i work that day. she feels my hands and bends my shoulders and feels my ankles and said oh they are warm. well no shit. my disease has calmed down not dies out.
then she goes into the lets try this med. she suggests Enbrel. its a biologic which means if i get an infection i have to stop the drug and oh by the way it can lower your immune system so you will become a huge dust rag of any and all germs out there. great. i have taken another biologic and it was horrid so im ify about this stuff. its a twice a week injection or a once a week injection. depends on how concetrated i want it and how often i wanna do it.
i had all the pretesting done today. tb skin test, pneumonia vaccination and blood work. as soon as she gets tests back i need to give hedr an answer. i think medicare wi cover it but if not then im not taking it. i also have my friend Bev working on the hoistic aspect for me too. i love that lady!
