I made a tumblr blog! (Well, I already had one, but I made a specific one.) It's very self explanatory on the page, but since I'm pimping it I may as well explain a bit why I made it. If you just want the link, here it is: http://poorwayfaringstrangers.tumblr.com/
I like traveling (obviously) and I really want to see places all around the world. There are a few problems with this, not the least of which being that I don't really have the money for it. The other is that I know there are places in the world I want to see that I know about, but I'm sure there are other places I'd love to see if I only knew about them. Travel books will tell you about countries that you might think to travel to ("Oh, hey, why not Russia? I'll get a Russia travel guide!") but what about unpopular travel destinations? I'm certain that everywhere in entire world has places worth seeing, but not everywhere has places that are easily discovered or advertised.
So, I wanted this to be a blog for people to share information and stories. Cheap ways to travel in certain places, specific things that you saw or experienced - I'm collecting these things. If it's something you think "if only other people knew about this!" then by all means, let me know! Or if you just think it's cool, let me know. I would love more submissions. I can't make a bunch of posts on my own because I have very limited travel experience.
If you know anyone who has good travel stories/lots of experience traveling, I'd be very grateful if you'd pass on the link. Here it is once again.
