Vows
I think this is my finalized version of my vows:
I have so much gratitude for this day, and what it means for us. I have thought about the promises I wanted to make to you here, as we start this new part of our adventure together.
Know that as we go forward in marriage, I love you and accept you completely, as you are, and value your acceptance of me. You will always be able to be comfortable being fully yourself, and I will do everything I can to protect and care for you and your heart.
Someday, when you are a senile, grumpy old man and I am a crazy cat lady, I will still remember this, and I will treat you gentleness, loyalty and respect.
I feel that our love has transformed my heart. I fear no challenge life may throw at us. I would make any sacrifice needly, gladly, and look forward to sharing all triumphs with great joy.
What it really comes down to is this: I love you so much I'd be ok getting matching tattoos.
