Three days of the week
Allow me to share how I wake up the three days of the week I work from home:
J, the dog and the cat walk into the bedroom around 8am. J slides in behind in bed, and the dog leaps up and tries to lick my face; sometimes sucessfully, sometimes not. The cat parades up the bed and proceeds to knead my belly, purring.
J asks me how I slept and if I had any cool dreams the night before.
It's seriously that cute and lovely three days of the week. This is the family routine we've established over the last six months or so.
