Well my interview was rather crappy... not helped by the fact that when I got there I realised it really wasn't where I wanted to work and how the heck was this job gonna help me progress career wise and it was raining and I got wet LOL

Finance and fun rarely go together, or if they do, someone else gets the job (stupid Games Workshop...). Still, if you even have the choice of fun, it's worth going for: would you rather be bored suicidal or scraping a living but happy? Sod what your parents think (I know you live with them and it's difficult): you're you before you're their daughter (I don't remmeber who I've just off-quoted that from).
