Who's EXCITED, I am!!!! I'm ready for a much needed break from the midwest, work, and semi-pure living. I want to party like a rock star, dance all crazy to some great music, and see the Bellagio fountains (cheesy I know but I have to have an Oceans 11 picture of the group). And I'd love to get a small tattoo hopefully if time allows. It's kinds a tradition thing of mine that when I go on big vacations I do something crazy to remember what a great time it was.
Ok enough about Vegas, how about a little update of sorts. Things have been great lately. Work is great b/c I know I get a break soon. The Brat Pack show at Crusens was a blast. It was fun to have people to dance with and see Bryan get wasted and let loose. The Fiery Furnace show in Champaign was awesome. Bryan(Jose)'s mixed Furnaces Baby cd set the mood on the way there. The bar had a great atmosphere. I wish we had one similar here. The bands were all great and so were the $4 Hurricaine drink specials and the cups(I took 4 home with me so I have a complete set). I think the drive home was a blast too with the music cranked, dancing, singing, and speeding. The next big event would have to have been Becky's birthday which was one of the best nights out ever. It was the 28th which happened to be Fat Tuesday this year so it was a party night already then tie in Becky and Tyler's birthdays and you have sheer insanity. Becky, DeeDee, and I met at Johnny Vigs for pre-party cocktails and I was supposed to go home and sleep b/c I had to work at 6am the next day but that went out the window when no one else showed up and I couldn't let my Becky have a shitty birthday so I was in for the long haul. We headed downtown to Tom Cats, then Big Als, the Z-bar, then Tyler's house then home to shower and change and get to work. That's right kids Amanda pulled an all-nighter. It was rough though. Then the next day Bryan, Randy, and I went to the Rivermen and met Mick Foley which was really cool. I always find myself speechless with a smile when I met celebrities. I really don't have anything to say, it's terrible. I just follow the boys. It was cool though.
More recently Bryan, Brandon, Dave, Carey, Randy, and I played Apples to Apples and Munchkin this past Sunday and that was a blast. I can not wait for a repeat but this time Kristi must be there. Well kids I think thats all for today or atleast all I can remember to post about at the moment. So have a good one and if I don't post again before Vegas there will definitely be one when I get back. Take care, be good out there in LJ land. :)
