I'm back from my trip.
Highlights:
-Eating Taco Bell for lunch on the road
-Going to Disneyland
-Going on a roller coaster and not being scared
-Actually finding something vegan to eat at Disneyland
-Weather that wasn't blazing hot
-Seeing bands on the road working their asses off to get their music out.
-Saturday marked my 2-year anniversary of being a vegetarian.
Negatives:
-Tiny hotel beds
-Incredibly high prices at Disneyland
-Bad drivers on the road!
-My farmer's tan that no one except my cousin said anything about (thankfully)
-Losing one of the biggest parts of my childhood in the hotel room. My stuffed puppy, Shadow. I've had him since I was in first grade. Around 9 years or so. I could mope about it, but everything happens for a reason and I think it's time I let go of something I no longer need. Here's to a new chapter in my life.( But if I ever see him in a thrift shop somewhere, I'm getting him back!)
