Before I forget anything that happened...

So this is my write-up for the Citylimit CD release show that I went to on Friday, October 14th at Iron Horse Middle School in San Ramon. I was actually supposed to be at the homecoming football game with the band, but I mean it was the CD release show and it was a fucking awesome line-up! Bands included: Romancing Gloria, FORTHMORNING, Nural, Citylimit, and Normal Like You. It was too good a show to pass up. So I got there half an hour early and of course I ran in like a little kid right when I saw Forthmorning's van, I walk in like I'm with one of the bands, I go up to Danny (drummer of Forthmorning) and I give him a great big hug. It was so nice to see him again. We don't talk much, but it was still amazing to see him. Then I went back outside and waited a little bit. The bass player from Nural complimented me on my Amity shirt because Nural are great friends with them. He was really sweet and his name was Bryan and you'll hear more about him later... The next person I see walking was Jerry and Johaan. Of course I got their attention and gave both of them hugs. Jerry looked awesome and Johaan looked like he needed to shave. Then came Nick. If I had not waved my arm in front of him he probably wouldn't have seen me but when he noticed me the biggest smile came to his face and he gave me a giant hug. Nick stopped to talk to me and Shannon for a while and he looked awesome. He lost so much weight and he looks really good. Around 7:00 we were finally let in. I got in then I went straight to the Forthmorning table and talked to Johaan a little bit. The first band to go on was called Romancing Gloria. They were nothing special but their guitar player was pretty hot and he had some really sexy hair. Next up were my boys Forthmorning. They played a bunch of songs off their CD and they did awesome. They didn't have as big a crowd for them as they normally do though. They're recording some new material, so I'm excited for that. Next up was Nural. They were awesome as well. The first time I saw them they reminded me too much of Yellowcard so I didn't care to pay much attention to them. After hearing their single, "Tension", on the Warped compilation, I decided to give them another chance. They sounded awesome and really sounded like they've developed their own sound. After Nural was Citylimit. Before they started playing, a bunch of girls were telling Joel to take off his pants, and Brian L. too. Their set was awesome but crazy. I felt like I was at a Good Charlotte concert. It was the first time I'd ever gotten bruised at a local show. The crowd was going insane! They played a lot of new songs, a few old ones, and even a cover of Story of the Year's "Until the Day I Die". Joel was wearing a sleeveless Amity shirt and Nate was wearing the same shirt I had except he had cut the sleeves off. I also saw another girl in the crowd wearing an Amity shirt. They're such an awesome band, so it was nice to see them getting recognition. Closing up the show was Normal Like You. They also played a lot of new songs and a few old ones that I knew. The crowd also went insane for them and band members even got into the crowd. Their drummer, Mark, is awesome. He's a really nice guy and I don't see too many really sweet guys like that anymore. After the show ended, I went and got Citylimit's CD, a new Forthmorning shirt, and a Nural CD. I only had 8 dollars left for the Nural CD and it was ten and Bryan told me that since they're now signed to Hopeless Records that they can't make bargains for their CDs. So I got two more dollars from Shannon and got their CD. A little past 11:00 I decided to get going so I gave the Forthmorning boys great big hugs and we said our good-byes.. well thanks to Nick and my social little self I ended up staying about 45 minutes after the show ended.. I had been sort of smiling and flirting with Bryan from Nural on and off during the night.. so when I saw him outside I went up and hugged him... and I didn't let go. We must have hugged for like 5 minutes straight. I've never hugged anybody that long in my entire life. Maybe it was my lack of affection in my life, but something was there. It was so nice to cuddle against someone like that. He said he loved me and of course I said I loved him back.. and I had just met the guy. So then I thought I was going to go home soon... but no... I end up staying like 10 minutes more. Nick was going on and on about getting drunk and how funny it would be if I went to the party at NLY's house of sin.. I was invited to go but you know how my parents would've loved that... and plus I had a band review the next day. If I had broken my edge, it would not have been fun to have been hungover in Santa Cruz. I would've tripped even more.. so then after walking around a little bit I saw Bryan again and I had to give him yet another hug. This time he said we were going to stop because he was getting a boner.. then he said he was kidding.. hmm well I don't want to know if he was kidding or not.. it was still nice to hug him.. Weird how I hugged him like he was my best friend or boyfriend and I had just met him. All of you reading this probably think I'm crazy. So as I said "good-bye" I blew him a kiss and he was thankful for that. Then I went home and got home around 12:00 and my dad was pissed but it was all worth it. :) Thanks again to Shannon!
