So the first day of junior year was pretty good. I still don't care for the kids at my high school, but whatever. There's some cool kids. Here's how my teachers appear to be:
1. English- Mrs. Atalla. Seems pretty laid-back yet seems to know what she's talking about. Very organized but that's not a bad thing. Pretty young too.
2. Chemistry- Mrs. Baumann. I met her on registration day (as well as the last teacher), and she seemed very fun and smart. The one thing that she said today made my day. "If you ever spend more than 45 minutes doing your chemistry homework, just stop doing it." That's the best thing I've ever heard a teacher say!!
3. Band- Mrs. Thompson. She seems very upbeat and seems to have a large background in music. I told her I wouldn't be at the first game and she said that's okay as long as I give her a week's notice. I'll be playing cymbals in band since I don't know how to play drums. Jared, the drum leader, seems pretty rad too, except he's a student, not a teacher.
4. French- Mrs. Jacob-Bohart. I also met her on registration day. She's a very nice lady from Canada who speaks French as her native language. I think French will be a blast this year, like it has been the past 2 years.
5. Algebra 2- Mrs. Fresquez- I had her last year. She still seems like a sweet old grandma who occasionally gets cranky.
6. History- Mrs. McCort- Seems pretty nice, yet maybe boring? She didn't sound like she was going to make history much fun for us. Kind of the typical "follow the book" teacher.
Well that is it for now. I gotta finish my history and do my Algebra 2 homework.
