I watched Miracle again today, the story of the 1980 U.S. men's hockey team winning the gold medal. I love that story...I love that movie

Miracle Icons! Hockey Icons by Icon goddess Amandarex? heck, yeah, I'd scoop them up in a heartbeat.
Sorry, can't talk you out of that one, for purely selfish reasons. When you're done with them, however, I'll link to them from the Ovechkin fan forum - people there might love them as well.
Whee. Are you geographically close enough to be a CAPS fan? In other words - might I be walking past you at home games and have no idea?
Of course the above question is completely at your discretion to answer truthfully or not. And either is completely your call. Not meaning to elbow my way into your real life. :)
Could I persuade you to add some Ovechkin, Clark, Kolzig and Bondra icons to your portfolio? I miss Bondra dreadfully.
Sadly, no. Not close enough anymore. The last game I went to in person was 1/1/2000, Caps vs. Blues. 1 - 1 tie. Bondra on the ice and Kolzig in goal. Sigh.
I'm stuck 1000 miles away now.
Maybe I can do some current/ex Caps icons. I'll have to see what graphics are out there.
If you haven't already, you must see Ovechkin play in person. Actually it's better if you see him a couple times to allow for an off day. The boy is absolutely deserving of all the hype.
I went into mourning when they traded Bondra. He scored a hat trick during the first game we ever watched/attended. I think I promptly developed a crush.
We lucked into sharing a weekend ticket plan with a couple of LH's co-workers. The seats were right behind those of the Bondra family when they came to watch him play. Wow, did his boys love hockey. And heavens were they ever well mannered. Not that I ever mustered up the courage to speak to Mrs. Bondra. But honestly, what would I have said? "Hi, I just love your husband. Squee!" Bleh, it's better that I said nothing.
OK. /gushing now. I'm so thrilled you're a hockey babe too. Knew I liked you.
