It's probably just me...
...but does anyone other than me intensely dislike the Suki and Jackson characters on Gilmore Girls? They just...ugh. Suki's so self-centered, in that classical sort of meaning. She literally requires immense effort to think outside her own life, even for Jackson, I think. And she never ever mentions any of the kids she's had on the show.
And Jackson. I'd be ticked that Suki is happily married while Lorelei can't get it together if it wasn't for the fact that Suki is married to the unforgiving, overly-opinionated and eternally cranky Jackson.
I turned on the television so the B could hear the GG theme song (long story, but I used to sing her that song to put her to sleep when she was little [hey, don't judge my choice of song--I was sleep deprived and it was the only song I could remember the words to at those 2 am moments because we'd just bought the DVDs before I had the baby] and now I swear she KNOWS that song. Dances every time she hears it, and it's hilarious to watch because of her dance 'moves') and left the episode on in the background for a bit while I got her a snack. It was the episode where Suki screws up the kids LotR birthday party, and I just hate hate hate her in that one. The only one that annoys me more than that one is the episode where the inn catches on fire and she goes and takes over Luke's kitchen, like he doesn't have a business or cooking going on of his own. Because her stuff is so much better than his. Ugh! I hate her so much!
