This weekend was busy, busy, busy. Thursday I went to Lou's for a little bit with Rebecca and Clinton. It was alright, but that may have a lot to do with the fact that I was third-wheeling, I feel I've gotten pretty good at that. hahaha. Friday I had to work 9:30-5:30 and then babysit, I didn't end up leaving until 11:30. 14 hour day no thank you! Needless to say, I did not go out, because I has to work 9:45-7 on Saturday. I definitely made up for that on Saturday, though. hahaha. After work, I still had to run some errands. I went to PetSmart to get some Harvey food and then deposited my checks at the bank. On the way home, my car started making weird noises. My dad said it sounds like something is wrong with either a belt or my power steering. Hopefully, it's just a belt. Later, Jamason, Rachel, and I went to Pete's Dueling Piano Bar in Addison. It's definitely my new favorite place. Good thing my birthday is coming up, there's no cover M-Th, so you can expect us to be making a trip out there! Rachel and I are geniouses and snuck in our own goodies, but for some reason I still bought beer, and that was probably not the best choice. eek! Darryl from the Office was there, and he played some songs it was really fun. Rachel and I desperately wanted one of the guys to play Crocodile Rock, and he started to but never finished and I wasn't very happy about that.. I made the mistake of looking through my sent box on Sunday morning, only to discover that I should probably drop off the face of the planet.

Yesterday, I went shopping and bought a new bra from Victoria's Secret and some stuff from Bath & Body Works (semi-annual sales, yes!) and a necklace and a shirt from Macy's. I didn't realize it would be so hard to find a cute dress shirt that's not like $80. I need something to wear for upcoming interviews.. grr. I'm still on the hunt. I think I'll just go to Old Navy and find a plain old button up shirt. That'll work. I need to pin up my pants and jacket so I can drop them off somewhere to have them altered. Being short is a pain in the ass. My order from victoriassecret.com is coming in the mail today! Semi-annual sales will be the death of me. I bought 3 bras, a pair of flannel pj pants, a pair of flannel pj shorts, and 2 shirts. I spent like $105. Not bad if I say so myself! I really shouldn't be spending money since I'll be jobless soon. eek! Good thing I'll have my severance and my tax refund!
Today, I need to drop off my car after work so they can look at it and give me new front tires while they're at it. Hopefully, there will also be some Boiler Room Karaoke going down tonight so that I can do my "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" duet with Hubs!!!
