(no subject)
I haven't been updating much lately. I have been meaning to, just never get around to it. Lately I've been pretty busy. Bailey's been staying with me because he is homeless until the 20th when he can move into his apartment. He left to go home to his parents house and then go to Port Aransas in the morning. I wish I could have gone!
I talked to Alicia earlier! They left Maine yesterday and she's in North Carolina right now. Her and Megan (her friend who is driving down with her) are going to be extras on One Tree Hill. I've never watched the show but I'm assuming they like it! So that's going to be exciting for them! They're leaving North Carolina early early Tuesday morning, and should arrive here in Denton late Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. Megan flies out on Wednesday afternoon around 4. Rebecca's birthday is on Wednesday too! My roomie is finally turning 21, little baby. So we're all going to go out to Fry St Tuesday and Wednesday night. It's supposed to rain, but I have an umbrella ;) THEN, either Thursday or Friday Alicia and I are going to The Woodlands to see my parents. Friday night we're going to the Astros vs. Diamondbacks game at Minute Maid. Then we're probably going to just hang out with my parents and eat good food, and possibly meet up with a couple of old friends from high school. I don't know when I'll be able to go back again, so I'd like to see Heather before she pops that little baby out! Alicia is going to stay with me until the dorms open up on the 20th. She's living in Kerr Hall (oh, the memories!) but maybe I should warn her to tell people that she's only 20 so people won't bug her to buy them alcohol all year. hahaha. So, basically, for the next few days I need to relax and enjoy this time by myself, because I won't have much of it between now and the day school starts.
My bike also came yesterday! Soo cute. It's the white one with pink rims. I put it together all by myself last night, and I can't seem to get the seat right. Everytime I sit on it it slides down. I guess I'll just need to ask someone who knows what they're doing. Whatever, I don't care I just want to ride it because it's so damn cute.
Kim and I are adventuring to the liquor store after work.. woo hooo! I don't know what I am going to buy yet, but I'm thinking possibly some Cruzan Black Cherry Rum. After passing the billboard on Fort Worth Dr. everyday and thinking how delicious it sounded, I finally caved and bought some. I drank it whenever Lilli came up and it's really, really tasty. The whole bottle was gone (along with a few 24 packs) within an evening. Cruzan has a bunch of flavors, so perhaps I will branch out. We'll see. Or maybe I'll buy some Smirnoff Passion Fruit and White Grape to drink with cranberry since that billboard is there now.. just kidding. Lord, that makes me sound like such a lush. But really, I do pass it every goddamn day.
