happy july!
So I FINALLY have a chance to sit back and relax. This past weekend was insane, between moving and work. We got our keys on Friday morning, so I started moving in some stuff, then had to go to work at 2:30. Friday night was Rachel and Cody's party which entitled some much-too-strong-trash-can-punch and a bunch of lovely people. Not to mention all of my lovely Mulberry/Hickory neigbors!!
Saturday I worked and then after work I moved some more stuff in the rain. I had almost everything in the apartment that was able to fit in my car, so I ended up sleeping here with Bailey. We made a comfy little pallette on the floor. I wanted to go to Doyle's party, but I was entirely too tired, so we crashed out.
Sunday was the big day! Rebecca borrowed her coworker's truck (who ALSO happens to be moving into Hickory Village..crazy huh!?) and Caleb brought his truck and Rebecca, Bailey, Caleb, and I moved all our shit. I arranged my room all day, and didn't shower because we were waiting for Kodi to call so we could go clean our house. The area where my bed is has been turned into a little Beatles cove ;) I'm such a freak. hahaha. Kodi didn't call till about 10, then I realized that I had an online exam so I had to rush through that and take it so I could help clean. Then we didn't get done cleaning till 12:30!
Yesterday Yacxara and I went to go get our hair done for $5 like the ballers that we are! We're hot now. ;) Kelly did my hair and I really like it. She textured my hair and cut off a little length, dyed it a browner color (you can't really tell much unless it's in the direct sunlight" and cut my bangs shorter, and gave me a red panel on the right side (she had to bleach my hair which was scary!). I had to go grab a bunch of crap from the house and went to work till 7. Rebecca and I hung up pictures and rearranged our living room. We still have boxes and shit everywhere but at least it's put together. Then I went to the Loophole for some dolla dolla beers y'all with Bailey, Keeland, Marcos, and Hope.
I went grocery shopping today so I have food! yay! Having no cable is weird. Everytime I make food I just want to plop down and watch some tv, so Rebecca and I have just been sitting on the furniture staring at the entertainment center. hahaha. I have to work at 2:30, but I'm just glad I've FINALLY had some time to chill!
