January Update
So yes, I do know that it has been a while since the last post; however, things have been TOTALLY hectic around here...
First off, Christmas in Indiana was amazing. It was great to see some of our friends and family, but the weather left something to be desired. It was FREEZING!!! We were SO glad to get home, and back to the 80 degree temperatures.
School is going really well. I am growing more and more attached to my students every day. I wish I could have the same group every year, but I am sure that is how I will feel with each and every class. They are getting so smart, and are really learning to work as a team.
Josh and I are doing really well. We have started a budget and everything. We want to be able to get a house/condo within the next two years in addition to paying for his school, so we need to get our finances in order. Josh has also started a new job. He is working with the husband of a teacher on my team. He's doing some contracting work. Today was his first day, but he enjoyed today, and the money is REALLY nice. We're going to give it a few weeks, but it will hopefully be "bon voyage" to Longhorn. Thank goodness!!
Spring break is coming up! I spoke to Rachel last night and she says it is only like 5 more weeks. I can't wait for her Terry, and their friend Amanda, to actually see where we live. They will be the first guests we have had EVER. Finally three people will be able to attest to exactly why we live in South Florida. I can't wait for the party to begin!!
