Oh happy day!
I had no school today. Not because I am sick...but because the middle school had no power this morning! I literally did a dance. I am feeling pretty much better and wanted another day of rest, but didn't want to take another day off without my students (I have a conference tomorrow). Missing even one day takes several to get things back in order. But, since they won't be there either, it isn't a big deal. I am very pleased by this turn of events.
