But I easily COULD be fat. I find that I actually have to work to have a good body...I have to watch what I eat now, which I did not have to do. Also, I think that being around 13 year old girls is what gives people eating disorders. I always forget that I am not supposed to be that size! On the other hand, I do have to make it a priority not to gain too much weight...it is a family issue that I don't want to deal with. I have always been thin and want to stay this way (sounds vain I know, but health is my main concern).

hey, I totally understand! I mean come on- I didn't just wake up with 60 pounds shed... trust me, I know it's hard work. But you don't need to put yourself down!

OK...first of all, YES you should do BOTH. Take the dance class AND the vocal class - they'll both be a good challenge. Should you feel like you may have a meltdown from extra commitments outside of dealing with 13-year olds, then I say go for the dance class...you can write it off as artistic AND excercise.
Secondly, I completely know how depressing it is to suddenly have to work to maintain your once stickly figure...it's so bizarre. And I hate it.
Thirdly, thank you SO much for that comment, Amanda. It was beautifully written and made me get all teary-eyed at work. Thank you for knowing me and loving me and being connected to me...it's so nice to have people in your life who really actually understand EXACTLY what you mean. You know?
Lastly, I auditioned for The Secret Garden today - got called back! Man, oh man, I hope something happens with it!!!
