life goes on
Another week of school down. Glenn continues to enjoy himself and do well.
The cold is getting better, I actually got some cleaning done today and am in the middle of laundry. I feel better now that I am actually accomplishing things. I can't function when the house is a mess.
We had dinner with mom yesterday, and she seems to be doing a little better. My brother is redoing the basement because he and his girlfriend are moving in there with mom. I think its going to be a disaster, but whatever, not my problem.
Everything is all set for the house, we signed the papers to have the price reduced, and we are closing in 6 days!!!! Rich will be out of town Tuesday morning-late Thursday night, then the next day we close!!! and the house is ours!
Its definitely a happy thing, and its still hot as Hades outside, so we can still use the pool, which thrills the kids.
Lucys cast comes off for good on Tuesday. I can't wait for that either. I can hardly wait to give her a proper bath.
We were going to see Rickis kitties, but his sister has a busy weekend, so we aren't going. I will post pictures of ours as soon as she sends us some, or we get up there to take some.
I think thats it, I am going to chill out and read while the kids watch their movie. I am back into the Harry Potter thing, I want to read them all in order, now that I have read the last one. It is really giving me more perspective on the earlier books now that I know the ending. I am taking a break from all the history to let my brain clear. I need some more historical fiction authors to read soon! I joined my bookclub under richs name, so I get free books and he gets to pick the 8 introductory ones too! Well, he doesn't like to read, so, essentially, I get 10 free books! Go me!
