There is so much to post, I don't know if I have the stamina for it right now.

Every Monday night there is an open mike at Muddy Waters called "Menstrual Mondays," or "The Lady-like Open Mike." I have consistently gone for the last several weeks. It's funny, but I have these regular things I do every week. Previously, it was Gay Dance Night at the Brewery every week, and now it's Menstrual Mondays. I can't remember if I posted about my bow, but my violin bow snapped in half last week, and I cried in front of all of Muddy Waters. I just put a down payment on a bow, and its going to cost about $300. Whew. Thats a lot of food.

I wrote my first ever song on the guitar a couple days ago. At first I was really excited, and thought it was good, but now that I have played it more and more, I like it less and less. Does this happen to other songwriters out there?

There are a couple secret penpals in my life. I posted on Craigslist that I wanted a pen pal, someone I have never met, nor will ever meet, and we have been writing letters back and forth, leaving them at drop points throughout the library for the other to pick up. It has been fun.

Hmm...what else? I hate my job, but can't find another one.

Gideon gave me a banjo, and I have been learning some tunes.

Everyone should read "Bee Season." It was amazing. But aparently there is a movie version with Richard Gere in it, and that freaks me out.

I have been really into George Sand lately. She was a Romantic Era French writer who smoked cigars and dressed in mens clothes long before that was cool to do. Basically she was an effen awesome revolutionary woman.

The freak show that came into town last weekend was special. It was called the 999 eyes of the eternal dream or something like that. When I first heard the name on the radio I thought it was an emo band.

Another tzirkis is coming up, and it will be way better than the last one. Lots of trapeze and aerial and hula hoops and music and games and popcorn and sideshows and post apocalyptic freakiness and wonderful stuff. Anyone who didn't go last time should really consider it this time. Its happening in the beginning of December.

OK. I think thats it.
