Name Change and Other Things.
Heads up, livejournal friends! I decided to change my username. I'm trying to make all of my online accounts somewhat consistent. It'll make things a little easier for me. So, my livejournal name is now the same as my twitter handle.
I thought now was a good time to do it, provide a little update before I post my huge (and I do mean huge) list of my favorite things in 2013. I started working on it in December, and it's almost done, so it will probably go up later today.
Speaking of 2013, I'll be posting the list of books I read soon as well, though it's going to be a much shorter list than it has in the past. I spent a lot more time writing and working in 2013 than I did reading. I guess that's just the way life goes?
In other news... I am so, so, excited. Tomorrow I'll be heading out to the Central Florida Scottish Highland Games. (As a spectator, not a participant, of course.) I try to go every year, and with this year being the 700th anniversary of Scottish independence from England, I'm expecting it to be extra festive. The games is kind of like a festival - there's the games, but there's also food, merchandise, a kids' area, genealogy info. It's so fun, and it only makes me more curious about Scotland. Scotland is definitely on my bucket list. I'd love to visit, explore my heritage a little bit.
