2012 Book List

Dec 31, 2012 21:58

Normally, this list would need to go under a cut because normally, I've read about twice as many books as this over the course of the year. But, much like my writing this year, my reading has seriously suffered. Work has just been keeping me so busy this year. Anyway, if anyone has any questions about any of the books on the list, feel free to ask. The only book review that's up over at Portrait is the first one on the list, but I remember all of them.

1 AMPLIFIED BY TARA KELLY
2 CINDER BY MARISSA MEYER
3 ART GEEKS AND PROM QUEENS BY ALYSON NOEL
4 THE FUTURE OF US BY JAY ASHER AND CAROLYN MACKLER
5 FABLES VOL. 1 BY BILL WILLINGHAM
6 THE SWEETNESS OF SALT BY CECILIA GALANTE
7 FABLES VOL. 2 BY BILL WILLINGHAM
8 LOVE? MAYBE. BY HEATHER HEPLER
9 THE FAULT IN OUR STARS BY JOHN GREEN
10 RUTHLESS: A PRETTY LITTLE LIARS NOVEL BY SARA SHEPARD
11 I'VE GOT YOUR NUMBER BY SOPHIE KINSELLA
12 NEVER HAVE I EVER: A LYING GAME NOVEL BY SARA SHEPARD
13 ALSO KNOWN AS ROWAN POHI BY RALPH FLETCHER
14 JOHN DIES AT THE END BY DAVID WONG
15 OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF TIME: A GALLAGHER GIRLS NOVEL BY ALLY CARTER
16 FIXING DELILAH BY SARAH OCKLER
17 THE BOOK OF BLOOD AND SHADOW BY ROBIN WASSERMAN
18 IN HONOR BY JESSI KIRBY
19 ILLUMINATE BY AIMEE AGRESTI
20 THE TRUTH ABOUT FOREVER BY SARAH DESSEN (re-read)
21 THE MILES BETWEEN BY MARY E. PEARSON
22 YOU ARE HERE BY JENNIFER E. SMITH
23 WICKED JEALOUS BY ROBIN PALMER
24 ARTEMIS FOWL: THE LAST GUARDIAN BY EOIN COLFER
25 THE SELECTION BY KIERA CASS
26 VENOM: THE SECRETS OF THE ETERNAL ROSE BY FIONA PAUL
27 AMY AND ROGER'S EPIC DETOUR BY MORGAN MATSON
28 LEMONADE MOUTH BY MARK PETER HUGHES
28.5 PITCH PERFECT: THE QUEST FOR COLLEGIATE ACAPELLA GLORY BY MICKEY RAPKIN (currently reading.)

My favorites were definitely The Fault In Out Stars, In Honor, and The Selection. But if anyone has paid any attention to YA books this year, that's probably not a surprise. Definitely going to shoot for more books next year, as well as more genres. I feel like I got stuck in YA this year, not that I don't love YA, but I really need more variety.
