And so NaNoWriMo sneaks up on me.
It's the last day of the month, and incidentally Halloween. How did that happen? I had so many plans for this month, writing wise, that I didn't get to do. I'm thinking that means one of my fanfiction ideas is going to become my NaNoWriMo project. I have an idea, I'm just not sure which fandom I want to put the story in. I think it could be fun to just kind of pick one randomly and just plop those characters down into the plot. Could be interesting. Or horrible. You know, whichever. I definitely want to write this month though. I mean, last year, I made my word count, but I never actually finished my story. I thought about rewriting that same story this year, but I decided I want to start with a completely clean slate. It'll be a challenge to write without an outline or anything, just an idea.
In other news, I have no plans for Halloween tonight. I'll be waiting for trick or treaters, though we never get any. No costume even for me, though getting to dress up was always my favorite part of Halloween as a kid. I bought some cool (fake) peacock feather earrings and a necklace that I'm going to wear to try and be a little festive though, since it's not something I would ever wear. That's as far as I'm going though. Haha.
