I had a job interview today for Toys R Us. After I got play with blocks and pretend to sell a thermometer to someone and got through the actual interview, they offered me the job on the spot. It's seasonal, to start, but they said they might keep me on and transfer me to another store if I prove myself. Which, since none of you know me in reality, you don't know how hard I worked at my last job. Let's just say that proving myself is not an issue. My mom keeps telling me not to get my hopes up because the offer is dependent on me passing a background check. I've never been arrested, got a ticket, caused any kind of legal trouble in my life. I think I'll be alright.
Of course, I missed four days on NaNoWriMo in a row, and I've been scrambling the last few days to get stuff typed and coherent, but I'm not in danger of not making the word count. I'm just in danger of not having a finished story. Does it still count if I make the word count but the novel isn't actually done? Can I get by on a technicality. Haha.
