Final Push
Y'all may recall me posting about, or have heard me talking about my friends Sara and Dante. Dante, a 33yr old elementary school teacher and children's book author, recently had surgery to remove a brain tumor. If you're interested, he has created a blog to log his journey,

There is a fundraiser raffle going on with some pretty neat prizes- especially if you are into anything arty or handcrafted. Lots of artists of varying mediums have donated items to the raffle.
Today is the last day to buy tickets for the raffle- please read about Dante and take a look at the items.

If you've been to the page already, go ahead and turn back and take a look again, several items have been added to the prizes, including a new mary engelbreit item was added, plus almost all of the large lots have had extra items added since the beginning.
The drawing will be held friday evening (tonight).

Pancake Breakfast Benefit pdf
The staff of Dante's elementary school have organized a breakfast/carnival type event to help offset some of his medical bills. It sounds like it's going to be so much fun!
When: Sunday, May 7th at 11am-2pm
Where: Pinewood Elementary, 6717 N. 63rd St. Off of Sorensen Parkway in Omaha, Nebraska
Cost: $5 per person or $15 for family of four.
What: Cakewalk, Raffle, Moonwalk, Face Painting, Singing Performances
