I suppose now's the time to be productive, seeing as I have 5 days before I move into the apartment and my dad wants to load the car friday afternoon. I never realized how much stuff you need just to keep yourself and an apartment running, not even counting the things I want to bring just because. idek what to do about food. I have to feed myself and I know what I like to eat, but deciding exactly what to get and make for myself is difficult. plus, I've been trying to eat healthier (minimizing the amount of "junk" I eat or at least making the junk food myself and minimizing the amount of processing that goes into my food), but frozen food is so much easier to make so I'm trying to push myself to actually buy things I'll cook.

I'm taking 18 hours this semester and hopefully adding 3 more for research. on top of that, I'm probably also going to join the club my friend (who is going to be one of my roommates) is the president of, so I'm thinking between coursework and research, I'm not going to have nearly as much free time as last semester, which may actually be a good thing considering everything that happened last semester when I had too much free time (ok, some things I did in my free time were nice. the whole "almost going off of the deep end" part wasn't)

nice thing about living in an apartment (that is also a block from the grocery store)? I can buy popsicles and not have to worry about them melting on the way back.
