Six hours at work after only three hours of sleep last night was the worst thing that ever happened to me. honestly. after work I slept for nearly three hours and I still feel like I'm going to pass out. Horrid I tell you.
I have class tomorrow morning, and seeing as I've not gone to the first three hours of it for the past two classes, I need to go tomorrow. Damn. This class is so effing lame. I'm pretty sure I could have gotten the homework done tonight once I woke up, but out of spite (and the fact that SVU was on), I didn't do it. I can't wait for next session and the astronomy class.
I'm having a cocktail party on 12 August at my apartment. It's semi-formal to formal dress. I'll be making finger food and an assortment of mixed drinks. Anyone who reads this is invited. My hopes are that it will be twenty or so people hanging out with some superb drinks, good food, and amazing conversation. It's likely that most people won't know each other very well, seeing as it's (hopefully) going to be my roomates, other GV chums, and possibly people from west branch; but, I assure you, my friends bite, so you'll fit right in. As the drinks will be spiked, it's up to the guests to decide what their going to do about their inebriation and being away from home. I will let no one leave under the influence. Depending on if my roomates have moved in by that time, I will have up to 3 bedrooms empty that can be slept in. I'm willing to give up my bed to someone, as long as they promise to not have dirty relations in it (i'm the only one allowed), I can stay at Corey's if need be. If you don't want to partake in the alcohol, I'm more than willing to have virgin drinks; all I will say is that the drunks will be respectful of you, so do the same... no soapboxes my loves. My biggest hope is that I will have furnishings (couch, chairs, etc.) and a stereo so it can become a danceparty for those who want it, and a chilled time for those who don't want to shake their ass to the faint. I'll probably start the party quite early, in case people can't stay the night but want to come.
