The day is soooo long....
Especially when you have to work to freaking 6:30 every night. I've been doing a little better this week. At least I've gotten in to work every day so far this week. And I even worked a little overtime too. YEA!! Kiss my ass, control freak, super mean boss lady!!
My newest hobby - cooking. I know, I've always said I'm domestically challenged, but I've really been getting into it. I search online for recipes all the time. Makes for a long day when I cook after getting off work at 6:30 though. I made some Tortilla Soup last night. It was mmmm, mmmm good!! All organic too! = )
I am also booked to judge my very first pageant!! I am soooo excited!!! I used to compete in the Miss Oklahoma American Coed Pageants No, they're not actually coed as in girls and boys, it's just their organization name. It's actually how I got started in pageants back in 1996. Lord, that makes me feel old. I competed for 3 years and got tons of trophies and scholarship money. They have a lot of "optional entry" phases of competition like talent, photogenic, speech, modeling, acting, and even best sponsor letter. My best year was 1998, when I won Miss Photogenic and 2nd runner up overall. Yeah, I just wanted to brag on myself a little. So what. You want to make somethin' of it??? Anyways, OK has been without a director for the past couple of years. The people who ran it when I competed quit shortly after I aged out. I guess they figured they just couldn't go on without me..... yeah, right. Somehow, she got my name and number and called me up to ask me to judge. And it turns out it's the weekend of my birthday, so I'll be in Norman, OK this year to celebrate the big 2-5. (shudders)
I know, I know, this is all exciting stuff, huh? I'm actually bored out of my mind waiting for 6:30 to get here. Did you get that I work until 6:30pm?
