BAD LUCK!
I swear, I've been having the worst luck lately. I must have severly pissed off some cosmic forces. Last Friday I found out that I wasn't getting my loan check b/c I'm only enrolled in 3 hours. You would think my so-called financial adviser would have noticed that when I applied for the loan, but I guess not. Not a big problem though. I've already arranged an independent study with Dr. Hammons in the dept. where I work. I'm going to be updating all his course info into more technologically savy presentations. I'm a whiz with PowerPoint, if I do say so myself.
Then, Wed. night I was reversing out of Zane's steep driveway and I noticed I was going a lot faster than I normally do, so I tried to slow down and my brakes didn't work. So I slammed into the neighbors rock wall. Zane also lives on a steep hill that goes straight into a cross street (where old Hunstville crosses into 6th street for all you Fayetteville people), so I'm lucky I hit the wall or I would have gone straight down the hill. (shudders) It was very scary, but luckily I wasn't hurt. My car's not too bad, but the muffler does have some damage.
So now I'm having to deal with insurance people. What a pain. The stupid adjuster hasn't even looked at my car yet and apparently he's on vacation until Thursday. Not to mention it took me 3 days to get a darn rental from Enterprise. Why do I have to deal with all the idiots?? So who knows when I'll have my car back.
Plus, today I had a doctor's appt. with my new doc in Johnson. I waited 45 minutes until they finally told me he wasn't going to be back from surgery and that I'd need to reschedule. I don't know if it's been the stress or what, but I've been hurting pretty bad again. Had to miss 2 days last week and was out a bunch today.
Other than that, things have been great though. HA! Let's hope all my bad luck has run out and I'll have a good rest of the week.....
