I AM DONE
So I finally finished all my big projects for the semester. Boy am I exhausted. I've basically been going non-stop since Friday. It's been a grueling process, but I AM DONE! Monday, I had a presentation (basically teach class for 60-90 minutes) over group discussion that went really well. I kinda ran out of steam by the end. I hadn't been feeling great that day. I don't think it affected me too much. I used Mona Lisa Smile as an example and I did an activity that didn't go as well as I wanted it too, but it all worked out nicely. I lead discussion in my Renaissance lit class Tuesday and I finally turned in my final paper this morning. I celebrated last night. Jess, Zane, and I went to La Huerta and then went back to my place to chill. What a great night!! Today's been really slow at work, which I don't mind at all. I came in this morning with a note on my computer from my boss to come to talk to her. I was so exhausted though that I handled really well. She made me read this letter stating how I had been missing so much work lately. Well, duh. So now I'm in jeopardy of not being paid over Thanksgiving and Christmas break. Which I think is a bunch of bullshit. Plus I'm only getting paid like half my paycheck. Ugh. I asked if I was eligible for the university's program that helps out extended sick leave, but you have to have miss a total of 20 days over the past 2 months - I missed 27.75 days. Which really pisses me off. But oh well, what am I gonna do? At this point, I wouldn't mind not working here. Ah the quirks of working life. I can't wait until 5:00 gets here....
